Starting Tuesday, May 28, 2019, Chiphone is excited to announce we will be able to help more members and non-members protect their eligible vehicle(s) with Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC). Mechanical Repair Coverage will help cover the costly repairs of eligible vehicles long after the manufacturers warranty has expired. This new distribution channel will allow you to purchase a plan on your own time, through our co-branded platform.
This new distribution channel is powered by Forevercar, which allows an individual to protect their eligible vehicle (s) through online and call center channels. You will be able to obtain a quote through this distribution channel by visiting our website, going to our loan Products icon, and selecting Mechanical Repair Coverage.

Our new Membership Opening Process (MOP) allows you to open your new Savings account in (3) simple steps. You will be able to “Create, Fund, and enroll in Online Banking. To start the process of opening an account, users will go through Experian Precise ID verification to answer random questions about their credit and personal information. Once verification has been established opening your new account will be a snap. Attention Debit Card Users!
Current fraud patterns have caused us to place restrictions on cards being used in Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Alabama, California, Florida and Texas. If you are traveling in these states you will only be able to use your debit card with PIN-based transactions. Your card will be denied if you use it as a credit or signature-based transaction. Before you leave on your trip, whether you travel in the US or over seas please call our Electronic Services Department. Make sure we have a current phone number to reach you if we need to.
