Mechanical Repair Coverage

Chiphone is excited to help more members protect their eligible vehicle(s) with Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC).  Mechanical Repair Coverage will help cover the costly repairs of eligible vehicles long after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.  This new distribution channel will allow you to purchase a plan on your own time, through our co-branded platform.

This new distribution channel is powered by Forever car, which allows an individual to protect their eligible vehicle(s) through online and call center channels.  You will be able to obtain a quote through this distribution channel by visiting our website, going to our loan Products icon, and selecting Mechanical Repair Coverage.

Open Your New Account “Online”

Our new Membership Opening Process (MOP) allows you to open your new Savings account in (3) simple steps.  You will be able to “Create, Fund, and enroll in Online Banking.  To start the process of opening an account, users will go through Experian Precise ID verification to answer random questions about their credit and personal information.  Once verification has been established opening your new account will be a snap.  If you have any questions about the Membership Opening Process, contact our Online Services Dept. at (574) 294-3606 – Ext. 1437 or 1611.

Attention Bill Pay Members!

Please do not give any account/personal information to anyone calling from any organization. The scammers may identify themselves from what may sound like a reputable institution. We fear they are trying to receive account information in hopes that you will send money to them. Please do not fall prey to this scam.

Do not be a victim of phone fraud, internet fraud or other means the criminal may use.  If you receive this type of call, hang up and notify us immediately.


Attention Debit Card Users!

Current fraud patterns have caused us to place restrictions on cards being used in Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Alabama, California, Florida and Texas.  If you are traveling in these states, you will only be able to use your debit card with PIN-based transactions.  Your card will be denied if you use it as a credit or signature-based transaction.  Before you leave on your trip, whether you travel in the US or overseas please call our Electronic Services Department.   Make sure we have a current phone number to reach you if we need to.

“The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is the global standard setting body for anti-money laundering and combating of terrorism (AML/CFT). On February 16, 2012, FATF issued a statement urging all jurisdictions to consider the risks arising from the AML/CFT deficiencies in Ghana, Indonesia, Pakistan, Tanzania, and Thailand.   5. Do not share your personal information with anyone.
  6. Do not respond to any email or phone call, including cell phones, asking for your personal information!
